why they are of benefit to the Church.
"I bear a special
love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will
exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the
spark that will prepare the world for My final coming." (Diary
1732)
"Oh, what happens to a soul that meets the Lord face to face, no
pen has ever expressed or ever will express!" (Diary 691)

you, and behold, I am with you every day, even unto the end of
time." (Matthew 28:20)

YES, JESUS IS REAL! -
FLASH MEMOIR BY ROSA
INTRODUCTION AND INTERVIEW
Jesus Christ is The Way to God the Father in Heaven –
He said so Himself – Get to know Him Intimately!
"I am
the Way; I am Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father
except through me." - John 14:6
The
Diary confirms the important truths of the Catholic Faith
that are in the Holy Bible and provides further Divine
Revelation based on these truths.
The
Divine Mercy Message is God’s last Message to the World
before His Second Coming -
He said so Himself.
"Before
I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King
of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will
be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:
All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there
will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the
sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the
openings where the hands and the feet of the Saviour
were nailed will come forth great lights which will
light up the earth for a period of time. This will take
place shortly before the last day. - Diary 83
Mercy: Hope For The World ... this was the theme of Pope
John Paul II pontificate. Pope John
Paul II was responsible for the beatification of St. Faustina in 1993,
her canonization
in 2000 and the establishment of “Divine Mercy Sunday” as a
feast of the universal church on the first Sunday after
Easter.
"Where, if not in the Divine Mercy, can the world find
refuge and the light of hope?" - John Paul II
"You
can’t love who you don’t know.”
- Father James Altman
Interview:
Interviewer:
Why do you want to share
your private revelation with others?
Rosa:
I have several
reasons which I will explain further. Please understand that
these reasons are not listed in order of importance or
anything like that. Rather this numbering of reasons is provided
for simplicity, fluidity and ease of reading. I feel all of
these reasons are very important.
Reason #1:
My private revelation is
testimony
to the authenticity of
St. Maria Faustyna Helena Kowalska's Diary - Divine Mercy In My Soul (private revelation).
This
memoir is my testimony
as to the authenticity of St. Faustina’s personal revelation
(diary)
and its message of God’s unfathomable love and mercy for
ailing humanity - His desire is to draw all of His children
to his merciful heart before His second coming.
The diary confirms the important truths of the Catholic
Faith that are in the Holy Bible and provides further Divine
Revelation based on these truths. In essence, my endeavour
is to evangelize baptized Christians, fallen away Christians and non-believers.
I also what to make them aware that St. Faustina's Diary contains Jesus'
final warning to mankind - His last
message to the world before His second coming.
It is a fact that
St. Faustina’s diary is also a “private revelation”
and being such, the religious and laity are not required
to accept it as part of The Church Doctrine of the Faith. This in
itself discourages many
people, despite the facts that Pope John Paul II beatified St. Faustina in 1993, canonized her in 2000 and established
“Divine Mercy Sunday” as a feast of the universal church on
the first Sunday after Easter.
Furthermore, it is a
fact that in the past, St. Faustina’s diary was condemned by
two Popes (Pope Pius XII, Pope John XXIII). As such, much controversy and disbelief
still remains among the faithful.
There is also evidence
that many religious and 50 % traditional catholics do not accept
it and therefore do not believe which is a further hindrance
to its acceptance within the Church.
Reason #2:
My
private revelation is testimony that
Jesus
Christ and His Church are real and not a fairytale
which seems to be the common
thinking in our current times when there is such little
faith left.
It appears that God is being evicted from
several key institutions in our society, namely our homes, schools, hospitals, etc – in favour of secularization.
This is ultimately leading to paganism. Our societal laws
and morals are based on Divine Providence however, these
have both been eroded and continue to erode. Our Bodies are Temples of the Lord and we are
Royal Children of God,
however, the world seems to have forgotten this truth.
Many have forgotten
the Ten Commandments of God in favour of disobedience and
sin. Essentially, many of us have forgotten the truth that
God alone is in Control
of the whole Universe. God is not impressed by our manmade
creations, successes, power etc as He has created the world
and everything in it, including us and any talents/gifts we
possess.
“Thus saith the Lord: Heaven is my throne, and the earth my
footstool: what is this house that you will build to me? and
what is this place of my rest? My hand made all these
things, and all these things were made, saith the Lord. But
to whom shall I have respect, but to him that is poor and
little, and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at my
words?” Isaiah 66:1-2
One of the
best speakers in the Catholic Church,
Father John Corapi stated:
“DeChristianization leads to Dehumanization.”
If you look at
the world all around us today, there is evidence all around
that this frightening reality has come to be - suicide,
human trafficking, pornography, euthanasia, abortion, family
breakdown etc. We have become a culture of death
versus life. In such a culture, the reality of sin does not
exist and suffering has no value which is untrue. In
such a culture, God’s love and mercy, The Holy Trinity,
The 10 Commandments, Baptism, The Holy Eucharist, purgatory,
hell, heaven, angels, demons, sin and the concept of chastisement are
considered part of a fairytale. The result is an
increasingly loveless and
hopeless world devoid of God – suicide, human
trafficking, pornography, euthanasia, abortion family breakdown etc are seen as
acceptable and normal. A grand confusion has evolved
from this regarding what is good and what is evil.
Father. John Corapi also stated:
“If you are out of touch with God, you are out of touch with
reality. To be out of touch with reality is insanity. Have
you wondered when you look around you and see some of the
things we have to witness today in our country, in the
world? It’s crazy, it’s insane. You evict God , nature
upwars a vacuum … it’s not going to be empty or neutral. You
want God out , evil will come in that’s an absolute fact.
The fact is, we are at war … a spiritual battle for souls –
not of the flesh – but the powers and principalities –
tracing back to the great battle in heaven." (St. Michael
versus Lucifer).
Jesus clearly expresses His deep anguish in these statements
he made to Saint Faustina:
"I
suffer even greater pain than that which you see. Look and
see the human race in its present condition. You see, this
is a torture greater than My death." (Diary 445)
"I suffer great pain at the sight of the sufferings of
others. All these sufferings are
reflected in my heart. I carry their torments in my heart so
that it even wears me out
physically.
I would like all pains to fall upon me so as to bring relief
to my neighbour." (Diary 1039)
"The loss of
each soul plunges Me into mortal sadness. You always console
Me when you pray for sinners. The prayer most pleasing to Me
is prayer for the conversion of sinners. Know, My daughter,
that this prayer is always heard and answered." (Diary 1397)
Reason #3:
I want to tell everyone that Jesus desires a personal relationship
with each and everyone of us.
It is because of
God's Love and Mercy that humanity came into being.
Therefore He desires a personal relationship
with each and every one of us.
He desires that all of us become
saints and and share in His glory in Heaven. However, He
also has expectations from us. He is most holy and just.
Therefore, there is no place in heaven for
disobedience, sin and injustice. Like any relationship we must reciprocate
our love for Him and our brothers and sisters by obeying His
"10 Commandments".
"The Holy Triune God"
cannot live in a dirty house. Would you want to live in a
dirty house or welcome someone who is dirty into your house?
He is "Thrice Holy" and Mercy and Love are His greatest
attributes. He loves everyone including sinners and that is
why He sacrificed His life for our salvation. The least we
can do to thank Him is to obey His commandments. God
understands our human nature is weak and our tendency
to give in to temptation and sin is great, and that is why he asks us
to turn to Him when we need help and encouragement, to follow
in His footsteps.
“For whosoever shall
do the will of My Father, that is in heaven, he is My
brother, and sister, and mother.” (Matthew 12:50)
"Whoever holds to my commandments and keeps them is the
one who loves me; and whoever loves me will be loved by
my Father, and I shall love him and reveal myself to
him." (John 14:21)
“No one can serve two masters.
He will either hate one and love the other, or be
devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God
and mammon." (Matthew 6:24)
“I am Thrice Holy, and I detest the smallest sin. I cannot
love a soul which is stained with sin; but when it repents,
there is no limit to My generosity toward it. My mercy
embraces and justifies it. With My mercy, I pursue sinners
along all their paths, and My Heart rejoices when they
return to Me. I forget the bitterness with which they fed My
Heart and rejoice at their return.” (Diary 1728)
For any relationship to thrive and grow there must be
ongoing communication and trust regardless if it is with a
friend, spouse, parent, child etc, otherwise it will not develop
and flourish. He wants us to seek and love Him with our
whole heart.
“And
you shall call upon me, and you shall go: and you shall pray to
me, and I will hear you. You shall seek me, and shall find me:
when you shall seek me with all your heart. And I will be found
by you, saith the Lord: and I will bring back your captivity,
and I will gather you out of all nations, and from all the
places to which I have driven you out, saith the Lord: and I
will bring you back from the place to which I caused you to be
carried away captive.”(Jeremiah 29:12-14)
Tell sinners
that no one shall escape My Hand; if they run away from My
Merciful Heart, they will fall into My Just Hands. Tell
sinners that I am always waiting for them, that I listen
intently to the beating of their heart ... when will it beat
for Me? Write, that I am speaking to them through their
remorse of conscience, through their failures and
sufferings, through thunderstorms, through the voice of the
Church. And if they bring all My graces to naught, I begin
to be angry with them, leaving them alone and giving them
what they want. (Diary, 1728)
"Come to Me, all of you." (Diary 1485)

"... They treat Me as
a dead object." (Diary
1385)
Reason #4: It is my hope
that God will bless those who read my memoir with His Grace
of Faith. It is also my wish that people will find consolation
and hope in Christ and come to believe that Jesus is really
present in the Eucharist.
I am exploding with
Joy and want to share the Good News with others. Jesus came
from Heaven and died on the cross for our salvation! He is
risen! He is really present in the Eucharist! Faith in Jesus
Christ and the Eucharist gives hope and strength
particularly to our
young people, many of whom are so troubled these days.
This is very unfortunate as
they are the future of our world and the Church! I hope and
pray that by sharing my private revelation, God will bless
those who read my memoir, with His Grace of Faith.
It is a fact that
there has been a huge decline in church
attendance especially for our young adults, youth and children.
Subsequently, there has been a decline in baptisms and in
the reception of the other sacraments within the Catholic
Church. This is a tragedy!
According to a
recent study, 70 % of Catholics do
not believe in Jesus' real presence in the Eucharist.
Just one-third of U.S. Catholics agree with their church
that the Eucharist is the body and blood of Christ. My guess
is, that the statistics for Canada are the same or worse.
They believe the
Eucharist (Christ under the forms of bread and wine) are symbolic of Jesus’ body and blood, rather than
believing in the Real Presence of Jesus. In essence
they do not believe the Church's teaching on
transubstantiation -
the moment during the consecration at Mass where the bread
and wine become the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
"When I come to a human heart in Holy Communion," He said,
"My hands are full of all kinds of graces which I want to
give to the soul. But souls do not even pay attention to Me;
they leave Me to Myself and busy themselves with other
things. ... They treat Me as a dead object." (Diary
1385)
There are many
traditional Catholics today who believe that receiving the
Eucharist (Jesus) in the hand is disrespectful. This
couldn't be further from the truth.
As Jesus lovingly expressed to Saint Faustina:
"When I was about to
receive Holy Communion, a second Host fell onto the priest’s
sleeve, and I did not know which host I was to receive.
After I had hesitated for a moment, the priest made an
impatient gesture with his hand to tell me I should receive
the Host. When I took the Host he gave me, the other one
fell onto my hands. The priest went along the altar rail to
distribute Communion, and I held the Lord Jesus in my hands
all that time. When the priest approached me again, I
raised the Host for him to put it back into the chalice,
because when I had first received Jesus I could not speak
before consuming the Host, and so could not tell him that
the other had fallen. But while I was holding the Host in
my hand, I felt such a power of love that for the rest of
the day I could neither eat nor come to my senses. I heard these words from the Host: ... "I desired to rest in your hands, not only in your heart." (Diary 160)
Pew Research Center Study
According to the
Catechism of the Catholic
Church:
"The Eucharist is "the source and
summit of the Christian life."
"The
other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical
ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up
with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in
the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual
good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.
The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause
of that communion in the divine life and that unity of
the People of God by which the Church is kept in being.
It is the culmination both of God's action sanctifying
the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to
Christ and through him to the Father in the Holy Spirit.
Finally, by the Eucharistic celebration we already unite
ourselves with the heavenly liturgy and anticipate
eternal life, when God will be all in all. In brief, the
Eucharist is the sum and summary of our faith: Our way
of thinking is attuned to the Eucharist, and the
Eucharist in turn confirms our way of thinking."
(Catechism of the
Catholic Church, 1324-1327)
"Transubstantiation"
"The Council
of Trent summarizes the Catholic faith by declaring:
"Because Christ our Redeemer said that it was truly his
body that he was offering under the species of bread, it
has always been the conviction of the Church of God, and
this holy Council now declares again, that by the
consecration of the bread and wine there takes place a
change of the whole substance of the bread into the
substance of the body of Christ our Lord and of the
whole substance of the wine into the substance of his
blood. This change the holy Catholic Church has
fittingly and properly called transubstantiation."
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1376)
"I am
the living bread which has come down from
heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live for
ever; and the bread that I shall give is my
flesh, for the life of the world. In all truth I tell you, if you do not eat the
flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you
have no life in you. Anyone who does eat my
flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I
shall raise that person up on the last day. For my flesh is real
food and my blood is real drink. Whoever eats my flesh
and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in
that person. As the living Father
sent me and I draw life from the Father, so
whoever eats me will also draw life from me.
This is the bread which has come down from
heaven; it is not like the bread our ancestors
ate: they are dead, but anyone who eats this
bread will live for ever." (John 6:51-58)
In
the church of Santa Maria y Caballito Almagro in
Buenos Aires, Argentina, there occurred 3
Eucharistic Miracles in 1992, 1994 and 1996.
Professor Ricardo Castañon Gomez was
called by the then Archbishop of Buenos Aires,
Jorge
Mario Bergoglio,
none other than our present Pope Francis, to
study the Miracle that occurred on August 18, 1996.

The
Teaching of Jesus Christ on The Eucharist - John 6 &
Eucharistic Miracles
Reason #5:
My private revelation is further tesitmony of the graces Jesus promised
Saint Faustina through the Image of Divine Mercy Jesus .
As I mentioned,
earlier, this extraordinary
grace I received gives testimony and support to the
authenticity of St. Faustina's private revelation recorded
in her diary, Divine Mercy In My Soul and most importantly
Christ's message to the whole world before His final coming.
This extraordinary
grace I received further supports the authenticity of The
Divine Mercy Image. It further supports, the associated promises and graces of
Jesus Christ, received through veneration of the image.
"When I asked the
Lord Jesus for a sign as a proof "that You are truly my God
and Lord and that this request comes from You," I heard this
interior voice, I will make this all clear to
the Superior by means of the graces which I will grant
through this image." (Diary 51)
Reason #6:The
First Commandment makes it clear that we are to love God
with our whole being. The second commandment makes it clear
that we our to love our neighbour, in the same way we love
ourselves. We are all called to be disciples of Jesus
Christ. Therefore it is our duty as Christians to
evangelize the faith.
As disciples of Christ, it is our
obligation and duty to promulgate the faith (and in my
case, the Divine Mercy devotion specifically) as
revealed by Jesus Christ’s private revelations to me
in church, on Saint Michael’s Feast Day (September 29/2018)
and again one week later, the day after Saint Faustyna's
Feast Day (October 6/2018).It would be uncharitable and
selfish of me to keep these revelations to myself which
goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Mission to
save souls. I came to the conclusion that not sharing this
extraordinary grace I received is simply not an option for
me - That would be such a waste, especially when there are
so many lost souls in our world today that I feel could
benefit! I humbly embrace Jesus' calling upon me to be
another vassal to relay His Divine Mercy message to His
precious children during these troubling times.
Ignoring any message coming from God is not wise! St. Paul
made this very clear.
"Do not despise prophetic
utterances. Test everything; retain what is good " (1 Thess
5:20)
Jesus gave St. Faustina this mission/office on
earth as well as in Heaven. She is venerated in the Church
as the Apostle of Divine Mercy. As Christians, it is also to
be our mission here on earth as we strive to become like
Christ and walk in His footsteps as Co-redeemers. We
will all have to answer to God for our actions. To show we
Love our Neighbour we are required to do
Spiritual and
Corporal Works of
Mercy and Live the Beatitudes.
The greatest love
we can show to our brothers and sisters is to desire their
salvation and heaven for them.
Jesus said to
him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart,
and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. This is
the greatest and the first commandment. And the second is
like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On
these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the
prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40)
Reason #7:
I Love
Jesus!
I Love Jesus and I
want to make Him Happy often! I love all of His Creatures for His
Sake. He loves Everyone and desires that All
People come to Him and ultimately inherit His Kingdom
in Heaven for all eternity. We should not be ashamed or
afraid to show our love for our Lord and Creator. Jesus
wants us to trust Him. Remember
He died on the cross for our Salvation!
No one can
have greater love than to lay down his life for his
friends. You are my friends, if you do what I command
you. I shall no longer call you servants, because a
servant does not know the master's business; I call you
friends, because I have made known to you everything I
have learnt from my Father. You did not choose me, no, I
chose you; and I commissioned you to go out and to bear
fruit, fruit that will last; so that the Father will
give you anything you ask him in my name.
(John 15:13- 16)
"Distrust on the part
of souls is tearing at My insides. The distrust of a
chosen soul causes Me even greater pain; despite My
inexhaustible love for them they do not trust Me. Even
My death is not enough for them. Woe to the soul that
abuses these [gifts]." (Diary 50)
As often as
you want to make Me happy, speak to the world about My great
and unfathomable mercy. (Diary 164)
Reason #8:
It has come to my
awareness that people seem to be intimidated by the diary
which is over 600 pages and requires a significant commitment
of time to read and reflect on it.
The
question that also comes to the mind for many is, why would I want to
read someone else’s diary? Also, it is written by a religious, making
it further intimidating and/or unappealing to some, particularly in a world which seems to have developed an
aversion to anything religious in general. Therefore, it has become
apparent to me now more than ever before, that I have to do
what I can with this extraordinary grace I received from
Jesus Christ to promulgate The Divine Mercy Message. In
essence, I feel it is my duty to guide souls to this last
opportunity to come to Jesus, to get to know Him more
intimately and to receive the graces He promised via The
Image of Divine Mercy and The Divine Mercy Prayer - most
importantly Salvation.
The diary also provides an
exceptional opportunity to get deeper in touch with our own
humanity as we travel through St. Faustina's life with her
as she openly and honestly discusses her life experience,
including both the joys and the trials she faces.
I feel that the
simplicity of my private revelation will be an
effective tool to encourage people to read St. Faustina’s
diary so that they can get to know Jesus more intimately,
especially His greatest attributes which are
LOVE AND MERCY. I want to instill in everyone that we are are all
beloved children of God, created in His image and likeness
regardless of who we are (lapsed baptized catholics, those
from other religions, pagans, sinners, etc) Therefore,
do not be afraid to approach Jesus so you can get to know
Him more intimately, and receive the forgiveness and graces
He desires to give to everyone.
"My Heart
overflows with great mercy for souls, and especially for
poor sinners. If only they could understand that I am
the best of Fathers to them and that it is for them that
the Blood and Water flowed from My Heart as from a fount
overflowing with mercy. For them I dwell in the
tabernacle as King of Mercy. I desire to bestow My
graces upon souls, but they do not want to accept them.
You, at least, come to Me as often as possible and take
these graces they do not want to accept. In this way you
will console My Heart. Oh, how indifferent are souls to
so much goodness, to so many proofs of love! My Heart
drinks only of the ingratitude and forgetfulness of
souls living in the world. They have time for
everything, but they have no time to come to Me for
graces." (Diary 367)
Reason #9:
Suffering is a Grace.
I think my
private revelation could provide a source of Comfort and
Hope to others, especially for those that are suffering
for whatever reason. Also, our young people today appear to be so lost in our world today
and without hope and joy. It is my prayer that they will
seek and find their best friend - Jesus!
The wisdom of
Saint Faustina is evident in these words she said:
“Suffering is
the greatest treasure on earth; it purifies the soul. In
suffering, we learn who is our true friend.”
(Diary 342)
Perhaps, with God’s grace I can
help, if even a little, to turn around this culture of death
we have come to live in and accept as normal - suicide, abortion and euthanasia.
I have come to
believe that the vast majority of people out there are
uncomfortable with the idea of Christianity and especially Catholicism, as
they are associated with suffering and punishment for sin,
etc. On the other hand, the immediate pleasure of sin
this world offers is alluring and overshadows the harmful
consequences, with the worst being the loss of salvation and
death of the soul.
It is obvious that most people are not aware of the truth.
Suffering is a grace – it is not bad luck and nor are you a
worthless loser. As Christ has proven on the cross, it is
just the opposite. The fact is, Suffering has great
redemptive value particularly once it is united to the
Passion of Christ. Suffering is the ultimate power against
hell as well as having great merit in heaven.
It is my
wish that I can deliver Jesus' message of HOPE. I want
people to know that God's greatest attributes are LOVE
and MERCY! This is clearly the whole reason behind the
message He has left for the whole world via Saint Faustina's Diary.
"Suffering is a great grace; through suffering the soul
becomes like the Savior; in suffering love becomes
crystallized; the greater the suffering, the purer the
love." (Diary 57)
"Those who are
like Me in the pain and contempt they suffer will be
like Me also in glory. And those who resemble Me less in
pain and contempt will also bear less resemblance to Me
in glory." (Diary
446)
"True,
My child , all that is painful.
But there is no way to
heaven except the way of the cross. I followed it first.
You must learn that it is the shortest and surest way."
(Diary 1487)
"It is
because you are not of this world that the world hates you.
First it persecuted Me. Persecution is a sign that you are
following in My footsteps faithfully." (1487)
Reason #10:
In the last two
centuries, our Blessed Mother Mary has sent many warnings to
her children via her apparitions (There have also been
several apparitions of Jesus and various Saints with the
same warnings). Our Blessed Mother has been pleading with
the world to change our lives, repent and return to God. Yet
her messages have gone unheeded by most. I have been truly blessed
by the Lord to receive this extraordinary grace to see the Risen
Christ face to face as did the Apostles, Mary
Magdalene and Saint Faustina. I feel compelled by The Holy
Spirit to share this blessing with others so that they can
seize this additional opportunity (grace) to amend their
lives and return to God.
I simply cannot
express the immense joy I felt to see Jesus face to face.
Even though
Jesus
has made no verbal requests of me, I feel inspired by the
Holy Spirit to to join in Jesus' (and
St. Faustina ′s)
Mission to Save Souls by promulgating and testifying to the
authenticity of The Divine Mercy Devotion (via Saint Faustina′s
Diary) .
I hope and pray that those people to whom my private revelation is revealed will receive the
grace of Faith from God or a strengthening of the faith that
they already possess. I have
come to understand, that Faith can only come to a Soul,
solely as a grace from God.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, said to
St. Faustina:
" …you have to speak to the world about His great
mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming of Him Who
will come, not as a merciful Saviour, but as a just Judge.
Oh, how terrible is that day! Determined is the day of
justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before
it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still
the time for granting mercy."
(Diary 635)
Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of Mercy,
said to St. Faustina:
"Mankind will not have peace until
it turns with trust to My Mercy." (Diary 300)
"…I am prolonging the
time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if
they do not recognize this time of My visitation. My
daughter, secretary of My mercy, your duty is not only to
write about and proclaim My mercy, but also to beg for this
grace for them, so that they too may glorify My mercy.”
(Diary 1160)
"Tell sinners that no one shall escape My Hand; if
they run away from My Merciful Heart, they will fall into My
Just Hands. Tell sinners that I am always waiting for them,
that I listen intently to the beating of their heart ...
when will it beat for Me? Write, that I am speaking to them
through their remorse of conscience, through their failures
and sufferings, through thunderstorms, through the voice of
the Church. And if they bring all My graces to naught, I
begin to be angry with them, leaving them alone and giving
them what they want." (Diary, 1728)
The Catechism of the
Catholic Church teaches:
Faith is a
grace. Faith is a human act. When St. Peter confessed that
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, Jesus
declared to him that this revelation did not come from "flesh and blood", but from
"my Father who is in heaven."
Faith is a gift of God, a supernatural virtue infused by
him. Before this faith can be exercised, man must have the
grace of God to move and assist him; he must have the
interior helps of the Holy Spirit, who moves the heart and
converts it to God, who opens the eyes of the mind and
'makes it easy for all to accept and believe the truth.
Believing is possible only by grace and the interior
helps of the Holy Spirit. But, it is no less true that
believing is an authentically human act. Trusting in God and
cleaving to the truths He has revealed are contrary neither
to human freedom nor to human reason. Even in human relations it is not contrary to our dignity to
believe what other persons tell us about themselves and
their intentions, or to trust their promises (for example,
when a man and a woman marry) to share a communion of life
with one another. If this is so, still less is it contrary
to our dignity to yield by faith the full submission of. . .
intellect and will to God who reveals and to share in an
interior communion with him. In faith the human
intellect and will cooperate with divine grace. Saint Thomas
Aquinas writes, "Believing is an act of the intellect
assenting to the divine truth by command of the will moved
by God through grace."
(Catechism,153-155)
"... no one could
come to me except by the gift of the Father." (John 6:65)
"Simon Peter
answered: Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the message of
eternal life, and we believe; we have come to know that you
are the Holy One of God." (John 6: 68-69)
"Tell sinners
that no one shall escape My Hand; if they run away from My
Merciful Heart, they will fall into My Just Hands. Tell
sinners that I am always waiting for them, that I listen
intently to the beating of their heart ... when will it beat
for Me? Write, that I am speaking to them through their
remorse of conscience, through their failures and
sufferings, through thunderstorms, through the voice of the
Church. And if they bring all My Graces to naught, I begin
to be angry with them, leaving them alone and giving them
what they want."
(Diary, 1728)
Interviewer:
What is the single most
important message you want to give people?
Rosa:
Jesus Loves You and
wants a personal relationship with all of us, His beloved
children!
It is not necessary to fully understand all of the
teachings of the Catholic Church - that is why many of them
are called "Mysteries." Take for example, "The Holy Trinity"
- if one could explain it and understand it perfectly, one
would have to be God which we are not.
We must let God be God and trust Him. He is waiting for
you to come to Him to receive His Graces, with the ultimate
graces being Faith and Salvation. He wants us to live with Him in His Kingdom for
all eternity! He alone has the words of Eternal life. Don't keep Him waiting any longer!
"Blessed are
those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
(Revelation 19:9)
"Remain in me, as
I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself,
unless it remains part of the vine, neither can you
unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the
branches. Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears
fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a
branch -- and withers; these branches are collected and
thrown on the fire and are burnt. If you remain in
me and my words remain in you, you may ask for whatever
you please and you will get it." (John 15:4-7)
Interviewer:
Do you have any
final thoughts or ideas you would like to share?
Rosa:
If it be God's will,
it is my hope that my parish church
will become a Shrine to
The Divine Mercy (Divine Mercy In My Soul, Diary by St.
Maria Faustina Kowalska - canonized by Pope John Paul II) where All of God's Children will feel Welcome
(no language barriers)
to come to experience God's Love and Mercy in a more
intimate way and be blessed with His Graces as I have been.
"You
can’t love who you don’t know.”
- Father James Altman
If my message helps
to save only one soul, then I feel that what I am doing is
worthwhile and I will have done my job as a Christian. God loves every single soul He created and desires their
salvation (irrelative of race, culture, language)!
"You
created my inmost self, knit me together in my mother's
womb. For so many marvels I thank you; a wonder am I, and
all your works are wonders. You knew me through and through,
my being held no secrets from you, when I was being formed
in secret, textured in the depths of the earth. Your
eyes could see my embryo. In your book all my days were
inscribed, every one that was fixed is there." (Psalms
139:13-16)
I think Jesus
appearing to me is a sign and a warning that His Final
Coming - His Kingdom is very near!
"And when he was
sitting on the Mount of Olives the disciples came and asked
him privately, Tell us, when is this going to happen, and
what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?"
"Jesus left the Temple, and as he
was going away his disciples came up to draw his
attention to the Temple buildings. He said to them in
reply, 'You see all these? In truth I tell you, not a
single stone here will be left on another: everything
will be pulled down.' And while he was sitting on the
Mount of Olives the disciples came and asked him when
they were by themselves, 'Tell us, when is this going to
happen, and what sign will there be of your coming and
of the end of the world?"
"And Jesus answered them, "Take care
that no one deceives you, because many will come using
my name and saying, I am the Christ, and they will
deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumours of wars;
see that you are not alarmed, for this is something that
must happen, but the end will not be yet. For nation
will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All this is only the beginning of the birthpangs. Then
you will be handed over to be tortured and put to death;
and you will be hated by all nations on account of my
name. And then many will fall away; people will betray
one another and hate one another. Many false
prophets will arise; they will deceive many, and with
the increase of lawlessness, love in most people will
grow cold; but anyone who stands firm to the end will be
saved. This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed
to the whole world as evidence to the nations. And then
the end will come." (Matthew 24:1-14)
The letters of Saint
Paul to Timothy are very indicative of the times we are in
now.
"You may be quite
sure that in the last days there are going to be some
difficult times. People will be self-centred and grasping;
boastful, arrogant and rude; disobedient to their parents,
ungrateful, irreligious; heartless and unappeasable; they
will be slanderers, profligates, savages and enemies of
everything that is good; they will be treacherous and
reckless and demented by pride, preferring their own
pleasure to God. They will keep up the outward appearance of
religion but will have rejected the inner power of it. Have
nothing to do with people like that.
Of the same kind, too,
are those men who insinuate themselves into families in
order to get influence over silly women who are obsessed
with their sins and follow one craze after another in the
attempt to educate themselves, but can never come to
knowledge of the truth."
(2 Timothy 3:1-7)
"Before God and
before Christ Jesus who is to be judge of the living and the
dead, I put this duty to you, in the name of his Appearing
and of his kingdom: proclaim the message and, welcome or
unwelcome, insist on it. Refute falsehood, correct error,
call to obedience – but do all with patience and with the
intention of teaching." (Timothy 4:1-1)
To conclude my
interview, I leave you with these words of Jesus. These last
words to His apostles before his Ascension into heaven are
most reassuring. He made it very clear that if we
cling to Him and live in a state of Grace, we will never be
alone. What comfort and peace these words bring to our
souls!
"And
instruct them to keep everything whatever I have commanded you,
and behold, I am with you every day, even unto the end of time."
(Matthew 28:20)
