“Behold, the Lamb of
God, who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29)
“Do not weep. The lion
of the tribe of Judah, the root of David has triumphed,
enabling him to open the scroll with its seven seals.”
(Revelation 5:5)

This web site was
created to be used as a tool to promulgate The Divine Mercy
Devotion (Divine Mercy in My Soul, Diary by Saint Maria
FaustIna Helena Kowalska) for the purposes of EVANGELIZATION
of the CHRISTIAN Faith and the SALVATION OF SOULS as desired by OUR
LORD JESUS CHRIST. For those of you that think otherwise,
Catholics are indeed Christians.
In fact, the Catholic
faith contains the fullness of the truth. It is the one true
faith founded by Jesus Christ and no other religion can make
that claim.

Jesus commands us to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you
always, until the end of the age." (Matthew
28:19-20)
Evangelization is not optional. Jesus has
placed a great commission upon all Christians to evangelize
and make disciples of all of His children. Pope John Paul VI
stated that this is the number one mission of the church
(EVANGELII
NUNTIANDI). Therefore,
it is absolutely our duty as Christians to evangelize - we
don't want to reach the end of our lives to discover we have
not brought any souls to The Beloved, Jesus.
Jesus tells us through
St. Faustina that there are three things that are absolutely
essential to save souls. There is but one price at which
souls are bought and that is SUFFERING and
SACRIFICE (eg: Fasting) and PRAYER.
Through St. Faustina, Jesus
communicated to the world that He can use our sufferings to
save souls, IF we join them to His Passion.
He told St. Faustina, “I have need of your
sufferings to rescue souls." [Diary 1612]
"My will has not
yet been fully accomplished in you; you will still remain on
earth, but not for long. I am well pleased with your trust,
but your love should be more ardent. Pure love gives the
soul strength at the very moment of dying. When I was dying
on the cross, I was not thinking about Myself, but about
poor sinners, and I prayed for them to My Father. I want
your last moments to be completely similar to Mine on the
cross. There is but one price at which souls are bought, and
that is suffering united to My suffering on the cross. Pure
love understands these words; carnal love will never
understand them." [Diary 324]
"Every conversion
of a sinful soul demands sacrifice." [Diary 961]
During Holy Mass, I saw the
Lord Jesus nailed upon the cross amidst great torments. A
soft moan issued from His Heart. After some time, He said,
"I thirst. I thirst for the salvation of souls. Help
Me, My daughter, to save souls. Join your sufferings to My
Passion and offer them to the heavenly Father for sinners." [Diary
1032]
I saw the suffering Lord
Jesus who leaned down toward me and whispered softly, "My
daughter, help Me to save sinners".
Suddenly, a burning desire to save souls entered my soul.
When I recovered my senses, I knew just how I was to help
souls, and I prepared myself for greater sufferings. [Diary
1645]
"My daughter, I want to instruct you
on how you are to rescue souls through sacrifice and prayer.
You will save more souls through prayer and suffering than
will a missionary through his teachings and sermons alone. I
want to see you as a sacrifice of living love, which only
then carries weight before Me."
[Diary 1767]
"My daughter, meditate frequently on
the sufferings which I have undergone for your sake, and
then nothing of what you suffer for Me will seem great to
you. You please me most when you meditate on My Sorrowful
Passion. Join your little sufferings to My Sorrowful
Passion, so that they may have infinite value before My
Majesty" [Diary, 1512]
"If the
angels were capable of envy, they would envy us for two
things: one is the receiving of Holy Communion, and the
other is suffering." [Diary 1804]
It is important that we
don't fear and dwell on hell. The devil is actually afraid
of us. However, to believe that hell doesn't exist, that no
one goes there and that everyone goes to heaven is not wise
- what are we fighting for? There would be no spiritual
battle and no reason to sacrifice, offer suffering, fast, or
pray. This thinking erodes our faith and that is what
the devil wants - he wants us to believe that he doesn't
exist and therefore it is easier for him to pull us into
hell. The following passages from St. Faustina's diary
surely bring horrible images to our immagination and
should remind us to offer up our sacrifices and align our
sufferings with Jesus Christ on the cross. Therefore we
shouldn't waste the sacrifices and trials that come up in
our lives because they have value. They can be everyday
little things that cause us discomfort.
"Today, I was led by an
Angel to the chasms of hell. It is a place of great
torture; how awesomely large and extensive it is! The kinds
of tortures I saw: the first torture that constitutes hell
is the loss of God; the second is perpetual remorse of
conscience; the third is that one's condition will never
change; the fourth is the fire that will penetrate the soul
without destroying it—a terrible suffering, since it is a
purely spiritual fire, lit by God's anger; the fifth torture
is continual darkness and a terrible suffocating smell, and,
despite the darkness, the devils and the souls of the damned
see each other and all the evil, both of others and their
own; the sixth torture is the constant company of Satan; the
seventh torture is horrible despair, hatred of God, vile
words, curses and blasphemies. These are the tortures
suffered by all the damned together, but that is not the end
of the sufferings. There are special tortures destined for
particular souls. These are the torments of the senses.
Each soul undergoes terrible and indescribable sufferings,
related to the manner in which it has sinned. There are
caverns and pits of torture where one form of agony differs
from another. I would have died at the very sight of these
tortures if the omnipotence of God had not supported me.
Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all
eternity, in those senses which he made use of to sin. I am
writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find
an excuse by saying there is no hell, or that nobody has
ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like.
"I, Sister Faustina, by the order of God, have visited the
abysses of hell so that I might tell souls about it and
testify to its existence. I cannot speak about it now; but
I have received a command from God to leave it in writing.
The devils were full of hatred for me, but they had to obey
me at the command of God. What I have written is but a pale
shadow of the things I saw. But I noticed one thing: that
most of the souls there are those who disbelieved that there
is a hell. When I came to, I could hardly recover from the
fright. How terribly souls suffer there! Consequently, I
pray even more fervently for the conversion of sinners. I
incessantly plead God's mercy upon them. O my Jesus, I
would rather be in agony until the end of the world, amidst
the greatest sufferings, than offend You by the least sin."
{Diary 741}
The Holy Bible makes it
very clear that God created us for His Glory.
"To the north I shall say, 'Give them
up!' and to the south, 'Do not hold them back!' Bring back
my sons from far away, and my daughters from the remotest
part of the earth, everyone who bears my name, whom I have
created for my glory, whom I have formed, whom I have made."
(Isaiah 43:6-7)
Life is wasted when we do not live for
and do everything for the Glory of God. All life is for His
Glory.
"Whatever you eat,
then, or drink, and whatever else you do, do it all for the
glory of God."
(1 Corinthians10:31)
In order to Love God and
our Neighbour it is our duty as Christians to lead people to
God for everlasting peace and joy, otherwise we don’t love.
"You are light for the world. A
city built on a hill-top cannot be hidden. No one lights a
lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lamp-stand
where it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way
your light must shine in people's sight, so that, seeing
your good works, they may give praise to your Father in
heaven." (Matthew 5: 14-16)
"Though I should give
away to the poor all that I possess, and
even give up my body to be burned -- if I am
without love, it will do me no good
whatsoever." (1 Corinthians13:3)
A
Church In Crisis: Dr. Ralph Martin Interview
Fr. Mark Goring, CC
In his book, "A
Church in Crisis: Pathways Forward" Dr. Martin
talks about all the most important realities
we are dealing with now ... a summary of our
current situation. Monsignor Charles Pope
told Dr. Martin that reading his book saved
his faith.
"Until
they (eg: Germany) make the Lord Jesus Christ the absolute
centre 100 % clearly, unambiguously of
everything they do, they’re up the creek,
there’s no hope for any diocese, or
conference of bishops or any country. Not
only do they need to make Jesus the centre
but they need to make the real Jesus the
centre. They can’t create a Jesus or
Christianity to suit the culture, to suit
themselves. And we can never separate Jesus
from His teaching otherwise we’re creating
an idol. Everything that Jesus says is how
we know who He is, what He wants and what
His will is. Unless you submit to Jesus you
will not have the life He wants to give you,
you will not have the salvation He wants to
give you. The real Jesus cannot be separated
from His revealed word ... recovering
our confidence in sacred scripture."

The
True Vine - John 15
"I am the true
vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in me that bears no fruit He
cuts away, and every branch that does bear
fruit He prunes to make it bear even
more. You are pruned already, by means of the
word that I have spoken to you. Make your
home in Me, as I make mine in you. As a
branch cannot bear fruit all by itself, but
must remain part of the vine, neither can
you unless you remain in Me. I am the vine,
you are the branches. Whoever remains in Me,
with Me in him, bears fruit in plenty; for
cut off from me you can do nothing. Anyone
who does not remain in Me is like a branch
that has been thrown away – he withers;
these branches are collected and thrown on
the fire, and they are burnt. If you remain
in Me and My words remain in you, you may
ask what you will and you shall get it. It
is to the glory of my Father that you should
bear much fruit, and then you will be my
disciples. As the Father has loved Me, so I
have loved you. Remain in My love, If you
keep my commandments you will remain in my
love, just as I have kept My Father’s
commandments and remain in His love. I have
told you this so that My own joy may be in
you and your joy be complete. This is My
commandment: love one another, as I have
loved you. A man can have no greater love
than to lay down his life for his
friends. You are my friends, if you do what I
command you.I shall not call you servants
any more, because a servant does not know
his master’s business; I call you friends,
because I have made known to you everything
I have learnt from My Father. You did not
choose me, no, I chose you; and I
commissioned you to go out and to bear
fruit, fruit that will last; and then the
Father will give you anything you ask him in
My name. What I command you is to love one
another." (John 15)
Prayer
to Be Merciful -
St. Maria Faustina Helena Kowalska
"O Lord. I want to be
completely transformed into Your mercy and to be Your living
reflection. May the greatest of all divine attributes, that
of Your unfathomable mercy, pass through my heart and soul
to my neighbour.
Help me, O Lord, that my
eyes may be merciful, so that I may never suspect or judge
from appearances, but look for what is beautiful in my
neighbors’ souls and come to their rescue.
Help me, O
Lord, that my ears may be merciful, so that I may give heed
to my neighbours’ needs and not be indifferent to their
pains and moanings.
Help me, O Lord, that my tongue may
be merciful, so that I should never speak negatively of my
neighbour, but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for
all.
Help me, O Lord, that my hands may be merciful and
filled with good deeds, so that I may do only good to my
neighbors and take upon myself the more difficult and
toilsome tasks.
Help me, O Lord, that my feet may be
merciful, so that I may hurry to assist my neighbour,
overcoming my own fatigue and weariness (...)
Help me, O
Lord, that my heart may be merciful so that I myself may
feel all the sufferings of my neighbour. (...)
May Your mercy, O Lord,
rest upon me" (Diary 163).
Prayer - St. Maria Faustina Helena
Kowalska
"Prayer. – A soul arms
itself by prayer for all kinds of combat. In whatever state
the soul may be, it ought to pray. A soul which is pure and
beautiful must pray, or else it will lose its beauty; a soul
which is striving after this purity must pray, or else it
will never attain it; a soul which is newly converted must
pray, or else it will fall again; a sinful soul, plunged in
sins, must pray so that it might rise again. There is no
soul which is not bound to pray, for every single grace
comes to the soul through prayer" (Diary 146).
"...A
soul should be faithful to prayer despite torments, dryness,
and temptations; because oftentimes the realization of God’s
great plans depends mainly on such prayer. If we do not
persevere in such prayer, we frustrate what the Lord wanted
to do through us or within us. Let every soul remember these
words: 'And being in anguish, He prayed longer'" (Diary
872).
"Patience, prayer and silence – these are what
give strength to the soul. There are moments when one should
be silent, and when it would be inappropriate to talk with
creatures; these are the moments when one is dissatisfied
with oneself, and when the soul feels as weak as a little
child. Then the soul clings to God with all its might. At
such times, I live solely by faith..." (Diary 944).
"Silence is a sword in the spiritual struggle...The silent
soul is capable of attaining the closest union with God. It
lives almost always under the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit. God works in a silent soul without hindrance" (Diary
477).
"We should often pray to the Holy Spirit for
this grace of prudence. Prudence consists in discretion,
rational reflection and courageous resolution. The final
decision is always up to us" (Diary 1106).
"The Lord
Himself moves me to write prayers and hymns about His
mercy..." (Diary 1593).
Rational reflection
and courageous resolution. The final decision is always up
to us" (Diary 1106)
"Today Jesus said to me,
"I desire that you
know more profoundly the love that burns in My Heart for
souls, and you will understand this when you meditate upon
My Passion. Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners; I
desire their salvation. When you say this prayer, with a
contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I
will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer:
“O Blood and Water,
which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of
Mercy for us, I trust in You"
(Diary 186-187).
"You will prepare
the world for My final coming." (Diary 429)
